Sync licensing, explained
Sync is when a music supervisor pays to license your existing master + publishing rights into a film, TV show, trailer, video game, or ad campaign. It is NOT a songwriting contest — it is a rights transaction. You MUST own or clear 100% of both the master recording AND the underlying composition, or the deal dies in legal review.
Deliverables: main mix + instrumental (ALWAYS), plus optional stem bundles. Metadata matters — ISRC, BPM, key, mood tags, and a 'similar to' reference track help supervisors find you.
