What is a jingle, really?
A jingle is a 5-to-60-second piece of music built to represent a company's product and draw customers in through its catchy essence. Think Intel's five-note bong, McDonald's "I'm Lovin' It," State Farm's "Like a Good Neighbor." The music IS the ad: the sonic logo, the store loop, the TV spot bed, the social-media hook, the IVR greeting. If a listener hums it back hours later, it worked.
Winning entries nail all four: brand fit (sounds like the company), hook (one memorable phrase), length discipline (works at :05, :15, :30, :60), and use flex (TV, radio, streaming pre-roll, in-store, IVR).
